SABIC® Isocyanate

Description

SABIC provides two types of isocyanates; diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) and toluene diisocyanate (TDI). Both types are easy to process during polyurethane production. They can be used in all type of foam and non-foam rigid and flexible applications.

Characteristics

• Easy to process:
  Can fit adequately in all type of foam and non-foam rigid and flxible production processes.
• MDI Characteristics:
  Mixture of diphenylmethane 4,4 diisocyanate, isomers and high functionality PMDI. Used for foam and non-foam rigid and flexible applications.
• TDI Characteristics:
  Mixture of 2,4 and 2,6 isomers of toluene diisocyanate. Can be used with and without auxilary blowing agents to produce flexible foam and in other non-foam applications.
• Excellent for flexible foam:
  Ability to be used in all type of flexible and semi-rigid polyurethane foam applications.
• Excellenf for rigid foam:
  Ability to be used in all type of rigid polyurethane foam applications.
• non-foam applications:
  Grades can be used in non-foam applications.
