SABIC, a global leader in diversified chemicals, sponsored the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship as a Principal and an Innovation Partner, at the Jeddah E-Prix on February 14 and 15.

The Jeddah E-Prix, which featured Rounds 3 and 4 of the Formula E championship, was a standout event on this year’s calendar. An important destination since Season 5, Saudi Arabia introduced a new track at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the 2025 edition, offering fans an electrifying experience and cementing Saudi Arabia’s status as a leader in hosting premier sports events.

Since becoming a partner in 2022, SABIC has worked closely with Formula E to drive innovation across the sport. Its involvement in the GENBETA development program – a live development platform created with Formula E to push the boundaries of EV technology –- further strengthen SABIC’s role as a leader in automotive industry. These projects not only redefine what’s possible in racing but also brings EV solutions closer to everyday life.

We were excited by the return of the all-electric racing series to Saudi Arabia. It is not just a sporting event for us, but a unique opportunity to show our employees, customers, and key stakeholders what the future of automotive industry holds.
