How do you increase the efficiency of nutrient delivery for your agricultural and economic mainstay crop?

As part of a collaborative research project at King Saud University in Riyadh, SABIC set out investigating solutions to help feed the world’s growing population. It started the development of a smart agri-nutrient that directly addresses a key challenge for farmers in the difficult growing conditions of the Middle East region and further afield.

Growing a mainstay (such as date palms) year after year can cause fluctuations in harvest sizes as well as crop quality. Through a fertilizer tailored to date demands, SABIC helped farmers increase date yields by as much as 20% and produce a crop of more consistent quality and quantity.
