SABIC offers a broad material portfolio which may fulfill the typical requirements for luminaires, either in amorphous or in semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastic materials, depending on your needs. Each SABIC material type offers a different balance of key properties, which include dimensional stability, impact strength, flame retardancy and electrical properties.
Engineering thermoplastic materials enables more design freedom, reduced parts count (or should this be parts consolidation), easier and faster assembly then typical metal solutions.
