Fahad Al-Harthi

Fahad Al-Harthi has graduated from KSU in Saudi Arabia, College of Engineering on late 2002 as a Chemical Engineer then he joined SABIC on March 2003, he started his Career at SABIC R&T as an Operation Engineer in Pilot Plants Dept. where he spent 5 years in this role handling many T&I research works.
On June 2008, he gained his Master Degree from KSU University in Chemical Engineering.
On Oct 2008, he assigned to work at Polymers SBU in business strategy unit as Investment Planner.
On March 2011, he assigned to lead new asset called Saudi Kayan for the PC business then he assigned to handle SABIC new products called ETP (formerly GE business).
on Sep 2017, he assigned as Turkey office GM.
Mr. Al-Harthi has diversified experience in petrochemicals industry for almost 16 years in many functions (Technology & Innovation, Investment, Projects Management, Business Management, Sales & Marketing, SCM).



Mustafa Demirci

Mustafa Demirci has graduated from Economics and Administrative Sciences and he started his Career at Cukurova Holding/Mersin, Atermit Endustri/Adana and Continental Industries/Istanbul respectively.
Mr. Demirci joined SABIC Turkey Office at Polymers Sales Department on November 2008, where he spent 6 years in this role.
On December 2014, he assigned at PE Business Unit in SABIC HQ – Riyadh handling Africa Market PE Market.
After completing 2 years in SABIC HQ, he assigned as Turkey Office Senior Manager on May 2018. 



Yavuz Eroğlu

Yavuz Eroğlu was born in Istanbul on January 23, 1973. He received his bachelor's degree from the Istanbul Technical University Department of Electronics and Communication, and has master's degrees from the Boğaziçi University Biomedical Engineering Department and the Marmara University Management Organization Department. He started his career in SEM Plastik, a family company. After working summers while a student, Eroğlu started full-time work at the company in 1996. He was in charge of production, sales and export in a company that grew quickly in the plastics industry and had remarkable achievements along the way. In 1997, he was responsible for the first export transaction in the industry. Eroğlu is also the Founder and Board of Directors Chair of SEM Global A.Ş. and Credoy Polymer. Under his leadership, SEM Plastik was named one of the top 100 fastest-growing companies of Turkey and the region by the Harvard University affiliate Allworld Network. His 2008 investment in Plastic Disposable Packaging in Palestine was the only manufacturing investment in the region, and was cited by business guru Michael Porter in his “Shared Value” presentation as an example case. Yavuz Eroğlu is also the President of the Turkish Plastics Industry Foundation (PAGEV), the President of the TOBB Plastics, Rubber and Composite Industry Assembly, Board of Directors of EuPC (European Plastics Converters Association), President of Turkey, Middle East and Africa of the Waste Free Oceans Foundation, and Advisory Board Member of the MECC (Middle East Commercial Center). He gives regular lectures on the plastics industry, recycling, sustainability, packaging, trade finance, and entrepreneurship in various countries. He published a book titled "Geçmişten Geleceğe Plastikler Tarihi - History of Plastics" in Turkish to educate young children about plastics. Eroğlu is fluent in English and also speaks German and French. Yavuz Eroğlu has three children.


Oğuz Özgen

Oğuz Özgen was born at Malatya in 1963. He studied in Istanbul Ö.Çavuşoğlu High School and continued his education as Mechanical Engineer in Yıldız Technical University.
After his graduation, he completed his military service in 1988 as reserve officer. In 1992, he attended to City & Guilds AutoCAD Courses South Thames Collage - UK London programme and got certified. Between 1992 and 1994 he worked in pharmaceutical sector on antibiotic production line and continued his career in automotive sector in Ford Otomotiv Sanayi A.Ş. as Design & Release Engineer on 1994. Respectively, he worked as Project Engineer in 2003-2007, Supervisor in 2007-2010, Manager- Body Interior Trim in 2010-2013 and continuing as Manager- Body Technical Specialist as of 2013 in Ford Otomotiv Sanayi A.Ş. On behalf of the company, he brought in beneficial and creative patents. His profession is on automotive parts with plastic materials.
He participated in Ford Transit, Transit Connect, Transit Courier and Cargo Truck projects. He made successful contributions to Transit Connect project, the first Turkish made vehicle exported to USA, and F-MAX Heavy Truck project, awarded in 2019 IToY (International Truck of the Year).



Hülya Kiraz

Hülya Kiraz has graduated from Anadolu University in Turkey, College of Engineering on 2009 as a Materials Engineer then she joined ARCELIK on September 2009, and started her career at ARCELIK Washing Machine Plant as a Quality Assurance Engineer where she spent 3 years in this role handling many quality works.
On June 2011, she gained her Master Degree from Marmara University in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
On September 2012, she assigned to R&D engineer as a raw material responsible to lead cost effective/environmental friendly/innovative raw materials implementation for washing machine parts. She spent 7 years in this role handling many R&D works.
On March 2019, she assigned to Sustainability & Corporate Affairs Directorate as a senior specialist to lead chemical management system. She has been working at Sustainability & Corporate Affairs Directorate as a chemical management senior specialist.
Mrs. Hülya Kiraz has diversified experience in white goods industry for almost 10 years in many functions (Chemical Management, Sustainability, Technology & Innovation, Cost Improvement Projects, Projects Management, Six Sigma, Reliability).



Dr. Fatih Ergüney

Dr. Fatih Ergüney earned his BS degree from Chemical Engineering department at the Boğaziçi University in 2000. Followed by his graduation, he had worked for a pioneer company in the field of PVC based flooring materials called Serfloor for almost two years in different departments. Afterwards, he went abroad to study PhD at the University of Akron, located in the northeast Ohio, in the worldwide #1 ranking polymer science doctoral program. From 2003 to 2007 he worked on polymer nanocomposites to understand quantum effects in neutral particle filled polymer melts and made 4 peer-reviewed publications in the Polymer journal. After returning to Turkey upon graduation, he had worked at Sampas Nanotechnology over 4,5 years in Project Supervisor and Manager positions.  During this time, his main focus was to commercialize nano- and clean-tech applications developed by university start-ups on a global and national level and was involved in 20+ FP7 and H2020 projects. In early 2012, he joined Hayat Kimya as Advanced Technologies R&D Manager and assumed a crucial role during the early times of establishing their R&D Center. He accomplished many firsts, such as starting 1st EUREKA, H2020, and TEYDEB projects within the company. He has been given different responsibilities at Hayat R&D Center so far; as of now he’s the head of Flexible Packaging and Nonwoven division. On top of that he is also responsible to coordinate innovation management activities as the Hayat Kimya Innovation Manager. 



Dr. Betül Türel Erbay

Dr. Betül Türel Erbay entitled her BS degree from Chemical Engineering Department at the Yıldız Technical University in 2000. She followed her MSc. and PhD at Istanbul Technical University, Polymer Science and Technology Department in Istanbul between 2003-2012. Her working subjects are, photo polymerization and cationic photo polymerization, UV-curing, UV-curable urethane acrylate and epoxy acrylate, saturated and unsaturated polyester, polyurethanes and conductive polymer applications and atom transfer radical polymerization, sulfone and phosphine containing polymers. She has 4 academicals papers related on Synthesis and characterization of Triphenyl Phosphine Oxide and sulfone Containing Polymers via ATRP, Polyurethane Acrylate based Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Materials, Bis[(4-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl]sulfone Containing Urethane Acrylates and Their Applications. During her university studies, she had worked as a Quality and Production Engineer at Telka which has the working segment of Cable Manufacturing for 6 years. She worked at Elif Plastik Amb. San. ve Tic. A.Ş. more than 10 years as Supervisor and Executive positions in Ink and Printing Production Departments. Her expertise areas; packaging, flexible packaging, production management, operations management, flexo printing, offset printing, pre-press, inks, quality control, plastics, UV-Curing, Electron Beam curing (EB-Curing), coating. She is working as a Business Development Manager since 2 years and responsibilities are; CRM-Customer Relationship Management, Project and Product Management (New products, product and process improvement) Packaging development, R&D projects with raw material suppliers and customers. She accomplished many firsts in Elif, such as leading Turquality -Supply Chain Management, Operational Excellence-5S, Innovation Management Project. In addition to her above duties, Betül is executive of R&D Center to coordinate innovation management in Elif since October 2018.
