Dr. Ramesh Ramachandran is a member of the SABIC Board of Directors, Chairman of the Remunerations & Nominations Committee, and a member of the Board Audit Committee.
He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Columbia University, USA; MSc in Chemical Engineering, Columbia University, USA; MBA (Finance), Rutgers University, USA; and BSc Engineering (Production), University of Madras, India.
Ramachandran is the Founder and CEO of MEGVIN Advisors USA. He also serves as a member of the Board of the Sanmar Group, Chennai, India.
He has previously held several positions including CEO, Minderoo Philanthropy, Australia; CEO, EQUATE Petrochemical Company, Kuwait; CEO, MeGlobal Inc., Dubai; President, Dow Chemical Inc., India; Director, Strategic Planning, Dow Chemical Inc.; President, Dow Chemical, Canada; and Director, Dow Hydrocarbon, Houston, USA. He has also held several research and marketing positions at Dow Chemical.
