Ms. Lucrèce Foufopoulos-De Ridder is a member of the SABIC Board of Directors, a member of the Board Investment Committee and the Board Sustainability, Risk, and EHSS Committee.
She holds a Master of Science in Polymers and Composites Engineering from the University of Leuven (KUL) in collaboration with five European universities, as well as a Master of Science in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Gent, Belgium. She gathered executive business education from IMD, Switzerland and INSEAD, France.
Ms. Foufopoulos-De Ridder held the role of Executive Vice President Polyolefins & Chief Technology Officer at the Borealis Group, a global leader in chemical and polymer solutions. With over 30 years of experience in the petrochemicals, chemicals, and materials industries, she has worked with global multinationals, including Tyco, The Dow Chemical Group, Eastman Chemical, and Borealis Group, across diverse downstream sectors and markets.
Ms. Foufopoulos-De Ridder possesses extensive expertise in global business leadership, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), marketing and sales excellence, as well as technology innovation and sustainability.
