GELOY™ Resins: Automotive Thermoplastic Solutions from SABIC

GELOY™ materials are acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA) resins and polycarbonate (PC) and ASA blends. They are valued for superior weatherability and retention of properties after exposure to harsh environmental conditions. The ability to use molded-in colors and VISUALFX™ effects avoids the cost of secondary painting, which is often required with acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and PC/ABS. 

GELOY materials also surpass polypropylene (PP) in dimensional stability and impact resistance. Injection molding and extrusion grades are available. Applications include exterior trim, mirror shells, fog lamp bezels, spoilers and roof racks.
