Light-weight photovoltaic module consisting of interconnected rigid plastic lamellas. The interconnection is formed by a flexible, permeable seam material, allowing the screen to extend and retract by folding along the lamella while also allowing air to pass through the screen. When extended, the solar cells embedded inside the lamellas provide shade to the crops in the greenhouse while generating electricity from the blocked solar radiation.
