Middle East Fiber Cable Manufacturing Co. (MEFC) is a Saudi-Japanese partnership established in 1995 and located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A regional leader in fiber optics, the company provides a comprehensive package to its clients, from design through engineering to the delivery of end-to-end solutions and training, gaining it a 40% market share in the MENA telecommunications and industrial sectors.
Indoor cables
MEFC manufactures all types of indoor fiber optic cables such as simplex, duplex (flat and zip), break out distribution and backbone. All cables have a tight buffer structure, which facilities handling and termination, and are designed to minimize smoke emission and flame spreading.
Outdoor cables
MEFC manufactures a wide variety of fiber optic cables designed to perform faultlessly for 30 or 40 years even under the harshest and most challenging conditions, whether environmental or due to the nature of the industry – eg, petrochemicals. The range includes duct, direct buried, armored, aerial-ADSS, Fig-8 and many other standards.
Fiber Optic Cables & Accessories
MEFC manufactures and supplies all types of fiber optic accessories, including single-mode, multi-mode and angled fiber connectors, for use in FTTX, Gpon and Epon applications, and telecommunication, CATV and LAN networks. All MEFC FC, ST, SC, MT-RJ, LC, and MU style connectors are IEC and Bellcore compliant, and incorporate top quality zirconia for high precision, with low insertion and back reflection loss.
