Sabic Delegation Visits Home Of Innovation™ Partner To Explore Sustainable Construction Solutions

A SABIC expert team from multiple disciplines visited Block Solutions, a Home of Innovation™ partner specialized in building and construction using modern technologies, and a graduate of our NUSANED™ local content initiative.

The purpose of the visit was to explore modern construction techniques that Block Solutions seeks to localize in Saudi Arabia, aiming to replace the traditional methods of concrete construction with sustainable plastic building blocks, which help in reducing carbon emissions and construction time.

The visit also included discussions on stakeholder collaboration on selecting the appropriate raw materials that contribute to fulfilling the requirements of the Saudi Building Code and help in accelerating the technology’s transition to commercial applications.
