HOI ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING REVIEWS LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

The Home of Innovation’s Advisory Committee held its seventh meeting recently, as part of the Local Content and Business Development Unit’s efforts to help realize the localization and technology-transfer objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

High-profile leaders, including representatives from the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Ministry of Investment, and Ministry of Health, attended the meeting. The participants also included representatives from Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, National Industrial Development Center, National Energy Services Company (Tarshid), NEOM, Public Investment Fund, Deputy Ministry for Stimulating Housing Supply and Real Estate Development of MORAH, ROSHN, MISK Foundation, besides a number of program partners.

In his welcome speech, Talal Al-Hashim, HoI Head, highlighted the committee’s recommendations made at the previous meeting and provided an overview of the latest HoI developments. He introduced the program’s new partners from local and international manufacturers and outlined the latest technologies at the HoI and its key engagements with the relevant authorities.

Mohammed Al-Harbi, Human Resources Business Partner, made a presentation on “A Future Outlook for Career Opportunities,” which was later discussed by HoI members and partner leaders. Some ideas were deferred for future study.
