Home of Innovation™ holds its 6th Advisory Committee meeting

Home of Innovation™ (HoI), a SABIC Growth Initiative, organized the 6th meeting of the Advisory Committee on August 16 at the HoI headquarters in the Riyadh Technology Valley at King Saud University in the presence of several leaders from government agencies and the private sector, including legislators, enablers, demand makers, and partners.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Turki Al-Askar, Senior Manager, Investment Development, Local Content and Business Unit (LCBU), on behalf of the Vice President, LCBDU.

In his opening speech, Talal Al-Hashim, Head, HoI, said the objective of the Advisory Committee is to unify efforts between legislators, enablers, and partners.

The meeting discussed the committee’s recommendations and reviewed the latest updates of HoI, which included the introduction of new program partners, a briefing on the most prominent activities of HoI with the relevant authorities, and new technologies.

It also discussed the initiatives of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the SABIC digitalization program, and Schneider Electric's partnership with HoI in the field of the fourth industrial revolution. It also tackled the most prominent aspects of support provided by legislators to benefit from solutions and technologies related to the fourth industrial revolution in the industrial field.

The HoI Advisory Committee meeting aims to bridge the gap between all parties related to innovation in the business system and to communicate the voice of the industry and tell success stories to legislators, enablers, and demand makers to maximize the outputs of cooperation between the parties.
