SENIOR DELEGATES FROM HONEYWELL VISIT HOME OF INNOVATION

A high-level delegation from Honeywell visited the Home of Innovation™ to learn about the latest innovations and efforts to develop local content in the Kingdom and the role of SABIC and Honeywell in promoting these initiatives.

Hosam Al-Zamil, VP of Polymers Sales & Market Solutions, and Abdullah Al-Otaibi, GM of Polyethylene Business Unit, received the delegation.

The visitors were briefed about SABIC’s initiatives and strategies to achieve the objectives Saudi Vision 2030.

They were also shown the state-of-the-art high-tech facilities at the Home of Innovation™, including the SABIC Sustainability and Circular Carbon economy initiatives, as well as Honeywell’s contribution as a leadership participant in the Home of Innovation™.

During the visit, avenues of localization were discussed in line with the Kingdom’s vision as well as enhancing current collaborations with Honeywell as a receiver of SABIC’s material and a supplier of technologies.

The delegation was also briefed on the Nusaned™ initiative, which is part of SABIC's support for local content development plans.

At the conclusion of the tour, the visitors received a token of appreciation cementing the collaborative relationship between SABIC and Honeywell.

The Home of Innovation™ contributes to the shift toward a knowledge-based economy in line with SABIC strategy, in which innovation is a key pillar for developing new business areas that support the Kingdom’s development plans.
