Danish Climate Ambassador And Trade Delegation Visit Home of Innovation™

The Climate Ambassador of Denmark, Mr. Tomas Anker Christensen, visited the "Home of Innovation™" to learn about the latest efforts to develop local content, transfer of technology to the Kingdom and how to nurture a culture of innovation and sustainability. He was also briefed about the latest initiatives and highlights of SABIC strategies to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 and contribute to strengthening its position worldwide.
The Ambassador was also briefed on state-of-the-art high-tech facilities, including the carbon dioxide capture and purification plant model, pioneering innovations in transport, healthcare, building and construction, and a live experience of 3D printing.
A trade delegation of Danish companies, together with the trade office of the Danish Embassy, learned about its performance and achievements of Home of Innovation™, which is considered a focal point for cooperation with the program's partners, in order to help SABIC identify its technology partners.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the model of the "Demonstration House" in the Home of Innovation™, and learned about the energy consumption solutions it provides, as the percentage of energy savings in this house reaches 40%.
Furthermore, the delegation visited state-of-the-art high-tech facilities, and reviewed "Nusaned ™" initiative, which is part of SABIC's support for local content development plans, and enabling the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Home of Innovation™ contributes to the shift toward a knowledge-based economy in line with SABIC strategy, in which innovation is a key pillar for developing new business areas that support the Kingdom's development plans.
