Industry 4.0 Workshop – Future Factories
In collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM) and other governmental bodies in the industrial sector, The Home of Innovation™ (HoI) orchestrated the Industry 4.0 Workshop - Future Factories, with the aim to highlight the importance of adopting industry 4.0 solutions and its impact on profit, productivity and enhancement of workforce.
The workshop was attended by Nusaned Investors, HoI participants and selected manufacturers. During the workshop various governmental initiatives were presented which support the SMEs to adapt the fourth industrial revolution technologies. Selected HoI Participants shared the latest advancements in the fourth industrial revolution technologies and highlight their benefits.
The workshop started with a presentation about the Future Factories program from MIM representative, Eng. Yousef Al Majnouni, Director General of the Future Factories program. It was then followed by a presentation from SIDF representative, Rahaf Al Buthi, on Tanafusiya Program. The presentations from governmental bodies were concluded by Abdullah Al Faisal, Industrial Productivity Officer from MODON covering the Industrial Productivity program offered by MODON.
The second part of the workshop included the Industrial Revolution technical presentations from HOI Participants, Schneider Electric, ABB and Honeywell. It was then concluded by HOI Head, Eng. Talal Al Hashim to reiterate the importance of the items discussed in the workshop and the role of such collaborations and opportunities to further enhance the industrial sector’s maturity. After the conclusion of the workshop, the delegates from these companies along with Certified Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) evaluators welcomed enquires and requests from the attendees.
