EXPERTS DISCUSS SUSTAINABLE FINANCE CHALLENGES AT HOI EVENT

The Local Content and Business Development Unit, in association with Home of Innovation™, hosted a discussion session on “Sustainable Finance: The role of Innovation,” at the HoI facility in Riyadh recently. It was held in collaboration with Hydraloop, an HoI participant.

During the event, a roundtable on the future opportunities, challenges and current frameworks of sustainable finance was held. The attendees included members from the Sustainability and Treasury teams. The participants also included decision-makers from mega/giga projects, such as ROSHN, New Murabaa and Diriyah. Other attendees were from research and innovation sectors, such as KACST and EIA, and from financial entities, such as Riyad Bank, besides experts from the investment and venture capital fields.

At a subsequent panel discussion, the participants highlighted challenges and frameworks to raise awareness and promote sustainable and renewable endeavors, in line with the National Industrial Strategy.
