معلومات عامة
Description
A family of low-molecular weight PPE (Polyphenylene ether) oligomers with reactive end groups designed for property enhancement in thermoset formulation. Functional end groups enable use in epoxy, cyanate esters, urethanes, phenolics, phenoxy resins, and free-radical cure systems. These oligomers have solubility in common solvents and some liquid thermosets and curing agents. Potential property enhancements include lower dielectric properties, increased thermal performance, increased toughness, lower moisture uptake and increased flame retardancy. Application areas include printed circuit boards (PCB), composites, encapsulants, adhesives, and coatings. These oligomers can be substituted for reactive diols in polyurethane formulations and can be used as a thermoplastic material for blending in styrenic block copolymers or cured rubber.

NORYL™ Micronized PPE is a medium-high molecular weight polymer based on Polyphenylene ether(PPE). This grade is developmental. NORYL™ Micronized PPE is a medium-high molecular weight polymer based on Polyphenylene ether(PPE). NORYL MICRONIZED PPE is intended for use as an additive in a variety of thermoset materials like epoxies, phenolics, polyurethanes and unsaturated polyesters. The unique size profile allows for incorporation as an organic filler, processing at a lower temperature than melt, and does not require dissolving into the product. Adding NORYL MICRONIZED PPE resin to these systems may improve thermal performance (glass transition temperature), adhesion at elevated temperatures, toughness, dimensional stability, chemical resistance to acids and bases, moisture absorption, and electrical properties (dielectric constant, dissipation factor). NORYL SA90 resin is a modified low molecular weight resin with increased hydroxyl functionality. NORYL SA90 resin is a low molecular weight bi-functional oligomer with increased hydroxyl functionality based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). It is designed specifically for use as a reactive component in epoxy, cyanate ester, and urethane thermosets in electronics, coatings, adhesives, and composites applications. It has outstanding solubility in toluene & methyl ethyl ketone(MEK) and a low solution viscosity. Targeted application areas include enhancing the performance (e.g. thermal, dielectric, mechanical, flame retardancy, and moisture uptake properties) of epoxy resins used in electronic packaging which include PCB laminates, copper clad laminates, epoxy prepregs, and protective coatings as well as various other composites applications. NORYL SA90 can also be blended with thermoplastic elastomers and cured elastomers to enhance properties. EuropeAsiaAmericas
NORYL SA9000 resin is a modified, low molecular weight resin with vinyl end-groups. NORYL SA9000 resin is a modified, low molecular weight, bi-functional oligomer based on polyphenylene ether (PPE) with vinyl end-groups. It is well suited for use with other unsaturated monomers and resins which cure via free radical reactions. These include styrenic, allylic, acrylic, maleimide, methacrylic, and unsaturated polyesters monomers and resins. It has a low solution viscosity and outstanding solubility in toluene & methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). Key application areas are in electronic packaging which include PCB laminates, copper clad laminates, non-epoxy prepregs, and adhesives. The use of NORYL SA9000 is especially advantageous in insulating materials where very low dielectric properties and decreased moisture absorption are required. EuropeAsiaAmericas
