Looking into the future
The Houston, TX, area is home to the SABIC Americas Region Head Office. Currently, SABIC has offices in the Westchase district, research and development centers in Sugar Land and Sugar Creek, and property on Franz Road in Katy.
In early 2018, we built some temporary dome-like structures on our Franz Road property, bordered by the Grand Parkway, near Katy. These structures served as a venue for a business event we hosted on April 7.
At the event, SABIC was pleased to announce the initiation of a project to scope and design a new Americas Region Head Office in Harris County, Texas, near Katy. A decision to begin construction of the new Americas Region Head Office will be made upon completion of the final scoping and design, and will also be contingent upon receiving the necessary permits. Projects such as this could take approximately three to four years to design and build.
We look forward to what the future may hold for our company’s presence in the Greater Houston area.
